  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a report that shows how energy-efficient a home is. It gives the building a rating from A (very efficient) to G (not efficient).

Purpose: It helps you know how much energy the home uses and how much it might cost to heat and power it.

Recommendations: The EPC includes tips on how to make the home more energy-efficient, like adding insulation or upgrading the heating system.

So, an EPC is like a report card for a building’s energy use, helping you understand and improve its efficiency.

  • You do not need an EPC to apply, if you meet the Council Tax Band criteria then apply today and we will send out an assessor to you to generate a rating for your home

  • If you have an invalid EPC, give us a call today and let us know what changes have been made since the last EPC. From this on of our team will be able to let you know if you are still likely to meet the criteria

In simple terms, GBIS helps people save money, stay warm, and contribute to a greener planet by improving home insulation.
