Loft insulation

Loft insulation works by reducing the amount of heat lost from your roof – reducing the amount of fuel you need to burn for heating and saving you money. When your home is heated, a lot of that heat escapes through the roof, both through conduction and convection. In a house quarter of heat is lost through the roof. Insulating your loft, attic or room in the roof, is a simple and effective way to reduce heat loss and reduce your heating bills. You can save up to £175 on your annual energy bills by insulating your loft. With Government Grants available there's no better time to start saving money and reduce the area of heat loss.

There are still over 7 Million properties that do not have more than 100mm of loft insulation, an amount that hasn't been seen as sufficient for years. FREE Grants are now available, to have your loft topped up to the recommended minimum insulation depth of 300mm.
